No. The Free plan gives you 3 AI-generated diagrams a month with no credit card required. You only enter payment details if you choose to upgrade to Pro.

What file types can I upload?

PDF, Word documents (.docx), and plain text (.txt). Diagrafy extracts the text and generates a diagram from it directly.

How accurate are the AI-generated diagrams?

Treat the first result as a strong draft, not a finished deliverable. The AI reads your text or document and infers the steps and decisions in it — if the source text is ambiguous, the diagram will be too. You can always drag, reconnect, relabel, or delete anything after it's generated, and we'd recommend a quick review pass before relying on any diagram for something important like onboarding or compliance documentation.

Is there a limit on how many diagrams I can save?

No — saved diagrams are unlimited on both the Free and Pro plans. The monthly limit only applies to new AI generations, not to how many diagrams you keep.

What happens to my saved diagrams if I cancel Pro?

Accepted Answer

Nothing happens to them — your saved diagrams stay exactly as they are. Cancelling only changes your plan and monthly AI generation allowance going forward (down to 3/month, and PNG/PDF export only); it never deletes anything you've already saved.

Can I export to Figma, Visio, or other design tools?

Not as a native one-click export today — Diagrafy exports to PNG, SVG, PDF, and JSON (Pro plan for SVG/JSON). SVG and PNG files can be imported into most design tools that accept image imports, but there's no direct Figma or Visio file format export at this time.

Is my content used to train AI models?

We don't use your content to train our own models, and we don't sell it to third parties. To generate a diagram, your text (or the text extracted from an uploaded document) is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing — see our Privacy Policy for the full list of third-party services involved and how each one is used.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your account's Profile menu whenever you like — it takes effect immediately, with no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee.
