Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider — we never see your password in plain text).
• Content you submit: text descriptions and documents (PDF, Word, plain text) you provide to generate diagrams, and the diagrams themselves when you save them.
• Billing information: if you subscribe to Pro, your payment details are collected and processed directly by Paddle (our payment processor and merchant of record) — we never see or store your full card details ourselves.
• Basic usage data: things like how many AI generations you've used against your monthly plan limit.

2. How your content is processed

When you generate a diagram, the text (either typed directly, or extracted from an uploaded document) is sent to Google's Gemini API to produce the diagram structure. This means your submitted content is shared with Google as a processing subprocessor, subject to their own data handling terms. We don't use your content to train our own models, and we don't sell your content to third parties.

3. Who we share data with

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run Diagrafy:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (stores your account, saved diagrams, and credit balance).
• Google (Gemini API) — processes text/document content to generate diagrams.
• Paddle — processes payments and acts as merchant of record for Pro subscriptions.
• Vercel — hosts the Diagrafy application itself.

We don't sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and saved diagrams for as long as your account is active. Deleting a saved diagram removes it immediately. If you delete your account, contact us at the email below and we'll remove your account data.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at the email below to make any of these requests.

7. Children's privacy

Diagrafy isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
